Privacy Policy

1. What we do not collect

This site has no accounts, no login, no comments and no forms. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location or any other directly identifiable personal information (PII). You never need to register to read anything on this site.

2. Analytics (cookieless)

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and Core Web Vitals (LCP / INP / CLS). That service sets no cookies, performs no cross-site tracking and builds no user profiles. It only reports aggregated page-level data: view counts, referring country or region, device type and performance metrics.

We also record seven types of anonymous interaction events (filter, sort, map layer switch, tier group expand, affiliate click, outbound click, page view). Those events never contain your IP address in clear form and never contain a raw User-Agent string. They are not linked to any identifier that could single you out, and they are not used for advertising.

3. Advertising cookies

This site displays ads through Google AdSense. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for consent through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) before any advertising cookie is set. If you decline, no advertising cookies are written and you will see non-personalised ads or no ads at all.

Visitors in the United States and elsewhere may see ads served under Google's own policies. For how Google uses advertising data, see Google's privacy and terms pages.

4. Affiliate tracking

This site participates in the Amazon Associates programme. When you click an Amazon link here, the destination URL carries our affiliate tag, and Amazon may set its own cookies after you arrive in order to attribute a purchase. That tracking happens entirely on Amazon's domain, is governed by Amazon's privacy policy, and we cannot read your order details.

5. Local storage

As shipped today, this site writes nothing to localStorage or sessionStorage and sets no first-party cookies. Filter, sort and map-layer state lives in memory for the current page view only and is discarded when you navigate or close the tab. If a future version adds saved preferences, this section will be updated before that feature ships.

6. Your choices and opt-outs

• EEA / UK / Swiss visitors can reopen the consent dialog from any page and withdraw consent.
• You can block third-party cookies in your browser. The body content of this site does not depend on cookies and stays fully readable with them disabled.
• You can send a Do Not Track (DNT) signal. We do not treat DNT differently because this site runs no cross-site tracking to begin with.
• You can turn off personalised advertising in your Google Ads settings.

7. Contact and updates

For privacy questions, contact corrections@mw4stats.com. When this policy changes we update the "last updated" date at the top of this page; material changes are also flagged in the status bar on the home page.
